Why the Project Was Paused
MVP timeline expanded
Initial 3-month MVP grew to ~12 months due to added features and scope complexity
AI Market shift
Rapid advancement of AI-driven discovery tools reduced the long-term standalone value of the app concept
Strategic pause
The project was paused before launch to reassess feasibility and market relevance
Reflection
Early in the project, I prioritized visual polish over implementation speed. This experience taught me when to intentionally simplify visuals, focus on core functionality, and ship an MVP on time to validate the product.
